Mold is a naturally occurring fungus that is always present inside and outside of our homes.  For mold to become an issue and start growing/spreading, it needs a moisture source.  Due to our humidity and annual rainfall on the Texas Gulf Coast, moisture penetration is a common issue with homes in our area.  Recent floods and heavy rainfall totals from Harvey have substantially contributed to even more moisture issues inside many homes. Other sources can be a roof leak or plumbing issues.

Our complete Mold Assessment includes moisture checks and thermal imaging of the structure.  Air sampling for mold spores as well as surface samples are taken of any visible suspect fungal growth.  Results are typically available from the lab within 1-2 business days.
